Group Classes

Six 1 Hour Sessions per level (unless noted differently)

​

Each individual class level is $140 each, or choose a package below:

•   The Basic Package - $250 - Beginner & Intermediate; Saves $30

•   The Premium Package - $350 - Beginner, Intermediate, & Advanced; saves $70!

•   Add two 25 minute private classes for just $100!  In home or public.

•   Puppy Preschool can be added to any package for $50

       Location : Norton Pet Supplies Plus: 3200 Greenwich Rd  (more classes at Stow PSP!)

       Your class spot must be reserved prior to the start date, about 3 weeks ahead

       is recommended as most classes fill quickly.

       Each class is the same day and time each week.

​

       Classes build by level, starting with basics, all the way up to therapy dog preparation!

​

Puppy Preschool ($75 as a stand alone, may be added to any package above for $50)

Ages 8 weeks to five months. Recommended as the first class for this age group! The first 16 weeks of a puppy's life are critical for socialization and new experiences! This three week course will include potty training, crate training, teaching not to bite, socializing, confidence building, relationship building, focus exercises, basic commands, and more!

Beginner

Basic commands, obedience, and manners such as loose leash walking, not to jump, leave it, drop it, come, stay, sit, down, and more! Puppies under 1 year may participate in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy program (additional $20). S.T.A.R. Puppy is a program for dog owners to get their puppies off on the right foot & will lead into the CGC!  The AKC will award a certificate and medal for passing the test the last week of group class. STAR Puppy - $20​

Intermediate

Here we build up time, distractions, and distance. New higher level behaviors are also taught, such as go to/stay on your bed, heel, and finish. Two of the many goals we have are 3 minute stays with distraction, and running straight through scattered toys/treats from a 20 foot stay.

Advanced / CGC

This class is mostly preparation for the CGC test, but also continues to build on obedience and teaches new things. Dogs can be tested the last week of class if owners wish. The CGC is a title and certification for your dog, some get it as the first step in therapy work, others for fun!  Group CGC test- $20,  private CGC test $25

Therapy / Pet Partners prep

Centering around the Pet Partners therapy dog test, this will help you prepare for other therapy dog tests as well and teach you more about working as a team in therapy environments.

​

Trick Class

There are 3 levels of trick class, each with 20-30 different tricks, including: roll over, take a bow, weaving, jump through a hoop, say your prayers, moon walk, play dead, and many more!  Puppy or Beginner level skills needed. May earn AKC titles. (5 weeks)

Canine Conditioning & Fitness
Wonderful for all age groups!  Helps puppies with confidence building, older dogs with range of motion, and all dogs benefit from physical fitness, instability & core training, as well as stretches. Helps prevent injuries, especially with active dogs. The course is split into two class levels - an intro session & more advanced session (4 weeks per level). Exercises get more complex as we build. May Earn DMWYD and AKC titles.

Boredom Busters

Join us for a mixture of tricks, puzzles, and enrichment. No skills or prerequisites required. All ages welcome. (4 weeks, $100)

Outdoor & Agility Class

Practice overcoming distractions, shaping, and building commands in several outdoor environments, and learn agility basics! (5 weeks)

​

Scent Work

"Find it!" "Search!"  Learn the basics of scent work and tracking.  You will learn fun games to keep your pup busy & tire them out!  Teach them to find things with distinct odors, like cat nip,  essential oils, animal scents, bullet shells, etc. (4 weeks, $130)

AKC and DMWYD Titles $20 (may vary slightly depending on title type)

​

*If 4 or fewer dogs per group class, class may be shortened by a week, since it takes less time to teach fewer people/dogs.
